A display Bar in Codesys Visualization can be used to display continuous values including Temperature, Humidity, Current and Voltage and other PLC analog inputs. However, in its default form, the display Bar comes as a Horizontal bar.

This does not only limit your flexibility when working with a Visualization page with other elements, but also is rendered inappropriate if you want to display values in a vertical manner, say a vertical Tank Water level.

In fact, unlike other Visualization elements like rectangles, the display Bar does not have the rotate functionality. With the Rotate property, there would be a way of rotating the bar from horizontal to vertical.

However, there is s simple trick to turn the Horizontal display Bar into a vertical Bar You must resize the Horizontal Bar by tits edges until the width of the Bar is shorter that the height. Up on release, the horizontal Bar will turn into a vertical Bar

With such a simple trick, you have turned a Horizontal Display Bar to a Vertical Display Bar. You can also see a demonstration form the video Below
